Hire a carpenter or tiler by the hour
Some jobs are too small to quote, like a door that won't close, a few cracked tiles or a benchtop to fit. For those, you can book us by the hour.
Carpenter
$132 an hour
including GST ($120 + GST)
- Hang or rehang a door, or fit a new lock or handles
- Fit a kitchen or laundry benchtop
- Put together and install wardrobes or cabinets
- Replace or repair skirting and architraves
- Small repairs around the house
Tiler
$148.50 an hour
including GST ($135 + GST)
- Replace cracked, loose or hollow-sounding tiles
- Regrout or reseal a shower
- Tile a splashback
- Tile a small floor, like a toilet or laundry
- Tiled skirting and edge trims
How hourly work runs
- Two-hour minimum per visit, then charged in half-hour blocks.
- Travel is included anywhere in our area around Joondalup.
- Materials are extra. Supply your own, or we'll pick them up and add them to the invoice at cost, with the receipt.
- If it turns out bigger than it looked, we stop and tell you before carrying on. You can switch to a fixed quote at that point.
Bigger job? Bathrooms, whole floors and anything over a day or so are better as a fixed price. We come and look for free, then give you an itemised quote, so you know the total before we start. Get a quote
