Zero tolerance on cutting corners
Most tiling problems start underneath the tile. These four are where we never save time.
Prep
Floors checked with a straightedge, screeded to a 1:80–1:50 fall in showers, and levelled for large tiles.
Waterproofing
Primer, bond breakers, puddle flanges, water stops, then two coats of Class III membrane, cured before tiling.
Layout
Set out to centre lines and laser lines, with balanced cuts and grout lines aligned to what you look at.
Finish
Mitred corners, the right trims, and straight, colour-matched silicone where grout would crack.

How much will my job cost?
It depends on the area, the tile size, what has to come out first, and how much prep the floor needs before it's flat and falling the right way. That's why we look before we price. Your quote is itemised by the square metre, with waterproofing, screeding, trims and every extra on their own lines.
How long does a bathroom take?
Cure times set the pace more than the tiling does: a screed and a waterproofing membrane each need time to dry before anything goes on top, and partner trades fit in around them. You'll get a start date and an expected finish with the quote, and we'll tell you straight away if anything on site changes that.
Is waterproofing included?
In every wet area, yes, as its own line on the quote. We waterproof to AS 3740: primer, bond breakers, puddle flanges, water stops, then two coats of a Class III membrane, left to cure fully. How we waterproof.
Can you supply the tiles?
Either way works. We can supply and deliver the tiles and all the setting materials, or lay tiles you've already chosen. If you're still deciding, we'll tell you what suits the room and the floor underneath.
Can you tile over my existing tiles?
Sometimes. The old tiles need to be flat, solid and well stuck down, and the new floor height has to work with your doors, which we trim to suit. If tiling over would cause problems later, we'll say so and quote to take them up instead.
Who does the plumbing and electrical?
Licensed partner plumbers and electricians. On a renovation we coordinate them around our work, so you're not managing several trades yourself.
Do you take small jobs?
Yes. A few cracked tiles, a regrout, a door that sticks, a benchtop to fit. For those you can book a tiler or carpenter by the hour. Hourly work.
Do you work for builders and property managers?
A lot of our work is for them: whole-house tiling, shop and warehouse fit-outs, retiles in managed homes, and crews by the day or week with weekly invoices and timesheets. Builders and property managers.
