Bathrooms and tiling
Two-storey home retile for a property manager
Fixtures, shower screen, toilet and benchtops stripped out, the old shower step and tiles demolished, then new tiles to the wet-area walls and floors and the adjoining dry floor. Tiled skirting, doors trimmed to the new floor height, and mitred edges. The job grew to include both toilets, upstairs and down.
Wet-area tiling with two-coat waterproofing
600 × 600 tiles to the walls and floor, two coats of waterproofing membrane, a water stop at the shower, and tiles supplied and delivered by us.
Bathroom tiling and floor repours for a builder
A second bathroom tiled for a renovation builder, plus demolition, floor repours and a concrete pour to close a gap at a living-room window.
Herringbone feature tiling
Small 47 × 145 Spanish ceramic tiles laid in herringbone, with matching 300 × 300 wall tiles, supplied, grouted and sealed by us.
Pool tiling for a home builder
Surface prep and a pool waterproofing system, then tiling to the walls, steps and bench, with epoxy grout and a mosaic feature.
Fit-outs and carpentry
Barber shop in a shopping centre
Floor set out to a laser line over the old terrazzo, then laid in grey large-format tiles with darker inset areas, including at the entry.
Mezzanine office inside a warehouse
A timber-framed mezzanine platform, sheeted, with steel-stud office walls built on top and lined in plasterboard.
Commercial unit fit-out
Stud walls and a bulkhead continued through the unit, framing and hardware for glass partition panels and two glass doors, and internal batten cladding glued to the walls.
Renovation carpentry by the week
Carpenters and labourers supplied to a renovation builder across several sites for weeks at a time: fit-off, skirting, door hardware, mirrors, ceilings, a timber bench and shelving, and the handover fixes before the keys went back.
Plasterboard sheeting and flushing
Two carpenters over three weeks, sheeting and flushing plasterboard, invoiced weekly against signed timesheets.
Outdoor bar
An L-shaped outdoor bar framed in timber under a patio roof, with the benchtops set on the frame.
For property managers
Maintenance carpentry by the hour
Carpentry in managed properties, billed by the hour with the dates on the invoice, and materials passed on at cost with the receipts attached.
A trades assistant in the Pilbara
A trades assistant on site for a week of long shifts, invoiced day by day.
